George W. Bin Laden?

The Bottom Line Is it scarier than it seems?

I'm not a political person, per se. I have no debates with people, I don't read everything written, I'm not an addict of C-Span (though I did watch the Enron proceedings), and I've never written anything of a political nature on this site.

So Why Am I Doing So Now?

I read an article in Rolling Stone, their October 30th edition.

I was stunned by what I read there.

This caused me to do some of my own investigation, and to read other articles in The New Yorker, The New York Times, and online.

What I've read is quite disturbing, and I haven't heard any of what I've read being talked about on the nightly news shows, or anywhere for that matter (not that I can watch everything, mind you).

What I've read concerns the Bush family's ties with the Bin Laden family, going back over twenty-five years.

I'm writing this because I think it's important for people to know.

I am not trying to change anyone's political beliefs.

What I'm doing is presenting facts that are part of the public record.

You can decide for yourself if they hold meaning. And if they do, what is that meaning for you personally, and politically?

What else sparked my passion (as well as outrage) about this topic? I am tired of hearing of soldiers dying every day in Iraq. And the ones that aren't killed, are still traumatized in other ways. If you don't believe me, ask Charlotte.

George W. Bin Laden?

*In 1977, George Bush Sr. set up George, Jr. in an oil company. Its name was Arbusto. Junior received financing from James R. Bath, an old friend of the family.

Who hired James Bath? Salem Bin Laden, Osama's brother.

*After leaving office, George Sr. became a consultant for the Carlyle Group, an investment firm with billions in defense holdings.

Who invested close to two million dollars in the Carlyle Group? The Bin Laden family.

Frank Carlucci, now the head of Carlyle, also sits on the board of directors of a group called the Middle East Policy Council. Who else sits on the board? A representative of the Bin Laden's family business.

(Carlyle was the Secretary of Defense under Reagan.)

*After 9/11, the Washington Post and the Wall Street Journal questioned George W. Bush about the ties between the families.

George W. Bush and his spokespeople said that "these" Bin Ladens were different, and that they had "disowned" Osama.

Video footage was then released. It showed all of the Bin Laden family together, Osama included. Osama's mother, a sister, and two brothers, were with Osama at his son's wedding eight months before 9/11.

The New Yorker reported that not only had the Bin Ladens not disowned Osama, but that they have continued to fund him.

*Weeks after the attacks of 9/11, George Sr. and his friends still refused to cut ties with the Bin Laden family, and its empire.

It took months and serious pressure, before George Sr. and the Carlyle Group gave the Bin Ladens their money back, and asked them to leave the group.

*After the attacks of 9/11, nearly two dozen members of the Bin Laden family -- who were living in the United States -- were rounded up by private jet, and flown to Europe.

The family of the number one suspect in this horrible attack on America, were not only allowed to leave the country, but were allowed to leave with assistance by our government, and without being questioned by the FBI.

The FBI, in its defense, were not permitted to keep the Bin Ladens in the country. They were not permitted to ask if they knew anything about the attacks. They were not permitted to ask if they knew where Osama was. George Bush wouldn't allow it.

Why? He was 'worried about their safety.'

*The Bin Ladens are not the only Saudi family with Bush connections.

Who else "owes" the Bush family? Or who else does the Bush family "owe"? The entire royal family according to all reports.

Why might the Saudis owe the Bush family?

Well, in 1990, when Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait, it was really the Saudi government that felt threatened.

George Bush Sr. came to the rescue, and got Hussein out of Kuwait.

According to a March 2003 article in The New Yorker, some members of the royal family consider the Bush family part of their "extended family." Haifa, wife of Prince Bandar, the Saudi ambassador to the U.S., says that George Sr. and Barbara 'are like my mother and father. I know if I ever needed anything I could go to them.'

Robert Baer former case officer with the CIA wrote a book entitled Sleeping With The Devil. In the book he says that George Sr. calls the Saudi prince Bandar Bush.

Prince Bandar invests in the Carlyle Group. He attended Barbara Bush's 75th birthday party. He donated one million dollars to the George Bush Presidential Library And Museum. He also donated another one million dollars to Barbara Bush's literacy program.

*When the ballot counting in Florida was causing all kinds of problems for George W. Bush, Prince Bandar sent the royal family lawyer - also George Jr.'s lawyer, James Baker - into Florida to "direct the battle for the ballots."

Baker's firm also went to bat for the Saudi royal empire to try and protect them from all the lawsuits being filed by the families of 9/11.

*Attempts to dig deeper into Saudi Arabia's role in the attacks, were blocked by George W.

*When Congress released its own investigation into 9/11, George W. "blacked out" 28 pages that had to do with the Saudis.

*Two nights after the attack, (according to The New Yorker), George W. went out on the Truman Balcony of the White House. He went out to smoke a cigar and unwind. He asked one close friend to join him. Who was it? Prince Bandar, or "Bandar Bush," as George Sr. calls him.

George W. told Bandar that if the U.S. couldn't get any of the men involved in the attacks to cooperate, then he would turn the men over to Bandar. Prince Bandar of Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia, home to fifteen of the nineteen hijackers.

Saudi Arabia, And Why Bush's Nose Is Brown

America is dependent not just on Saudi oil, but on Saudi money as well.

The Saudis have one trillion dollars invested in our stock market.

They have another trillion dollars sitting in our banks.

If the Saudis become angry with us, and choose to remove their money, it would turn our economy inside out, and create a crisis the likes of which we've never seen before.

And what about our dependence on them for oil? We need one and one half million barrels of oil from them daily. Did you read that? Daily.

Scary? Oh yeah.

The Special Commission And Their Questions

A special commission was set up to answer the following questions (and more):

*How did the terrorists get past our defense system?

*How were they able to live in this country and never be detected?

*How did all the Bulgarians who worked at the World Trade Center get a secret communique to not show up at work that day?

*How did the towers come down so easily, when they were supposed to be able to withstand earthquakes, tsunamis, and truck bombs in their parking garage?

The Special Commission And Their Results

First of all, the formation of the commission was opposed by the Bush administration and Republicans in Congress.

After finally giving in, they tried to block them from doing their jobs by withholding evidence from them.

Iraq And Other Voices

President Bush recently asked for $87 billion to rebuild Iraq. In so doing, Democrats have started to speak out. Ted Kennedy, in an interview with the Associated Press, called the invasion of Iraq 'a rush to war.'

On why we invaded Iraq, Kennedy replied: 'There was no imminent threat. This was made up in Texas, announced in January to the Republican leadership that war was going to take place and was going to be good politically. This whole thing was a fraud.'

The Bush administration can't account for $1.5 billion a month, that is supposedly being spent on the war.

Ted Kennedy: 'My belief is this money is being shuffled all around to these political leaders in all parts of the world, bribing them to send in troops.'

On Al Qaeda, Afghanistan and North Korea...

Kennedy: 'All of those pose a greater threat to the security of the people... much more than the threat from Iraq. Terror has been put on the sidelines for the last twelve months.'

On the ongoing casualties...

Kennedy: 'This is a bankrupt policy, and the American taxpayers are paying for it, and American soldiers are paying for it every day. This is directly the responsibility of this administration, and no one is being held accountable.'

Big Guns, Big Lies

According to the Congressional Research Service, America is still the biggest arms dealer in the world.

Last year we supplied 45% of all conventional weapons worldwide.

Where did the weapons go? To developing countries. Aren't they the ones who need them the most?

Final Questions For George W. Bush From Yours Truly, And/Or, Here's Where I Speak My Opinion

With all the history between you and the Bin Ladens, and all your secrets and lies, how can you say evildoers with a straight face?

Where are Iraq's weapons of mass destruction?

Why and how did we go from invading and decimating Afghanistan to invading and decimating Iraq?

Which country is next on your paranoia list? Even policemen cannot arrest someone for what they think that person might do. And yet, as President, you can invade a country for what you think they might do.

Your father missed getting Saddam Hussein in the Gulf War. Did you and daddy have a talk about getting him this time, or was it the Saudis who wanted him out of power?

Where do you think America is going to get the money to continue to fund this war? You are already taking money from soldiers and their families. Will you bankrupt Social Security and Medicare? Will there still be an America after we're "all done" in Iraq, or will you take on North Korea?

How many more soldiers need to die before you get us the hell out of there?

Why isn't this another Vietnam?

When does it end?

How much say have your oil buddies had in this invasion, and what's really the bottom line? Money, right? Then get the $87 billion from them. And let them go over to Iraq where they can get blown to pieces by renegade forces and road bombs.

Having read your track record in business, going way back, every company you started or had a part in went under. Even your dad's oil cronies started to make fun of you. Started saying things like you couldn't find oil in an oil drum. You lost millions of investors' dollars. Are they calling in their markers now?

And how, with such a track record, did you ever think you could successfully run this nation?

What are you going to do about the economy?

Why are you opposed to all efforts aimed at stopping global warming? Exxon Mobil, in particular, has funded all the anti-global warming propaganda out there. Are you in their pocket comfortably?

May you answer to your higher power for what you have to this nation in your term as President.

And may the American people hold you accountable come election time.
